While everything we do is technically interactive art, sometimes it needs no other reason to exist except for your enjoyment. Even when you’re not working on a film or other production—no script calling for an undead space cyborg, a fairy unicorn or hyper-intelligent dolphin tree—your life can use a little “production design” too. Maybe something to brighten up the foyer? Something intricate for the den? Something fun for the kids’ room? A special effect for the living room? How about a unique gift for a one of kind person? Bringing magic to people’s personal lives is what we live for.

The Brothers Bloom: Matching continuity is a challenge for any artist. An even bigger challenge is matching another artist’s work. For the film The Brothers Bloom, we had to do just that on Mark Ruffalo. This is the continuity match we did for pickup shots in Los Angeles.
A true makeup artist does not paint the face, they sculpt it. Using simple tricks of light and shadow, or the latest state of the art prosthetic technology, we reach beyond the normal limitations of human bone structure to create a new living breathing being.

Red Velvet Teeth: This one time, on the set of Red Velvet, Henry Thomas got a bunch of his teeth knocked out. Not really, we just made him an acrylic dental appliance.

Six-part moulds were necessary to complete the intricate guards.
In order to take a sculpture from form to function, the sculpture must meet with the equally classic craft of mold making, elevated to a level of precision that allows for flawless replication. Transforming finely shaped clay into something that can be used or abused is a refined art unto itself. Mold making can be the most expensive part of any fabrication process and the client should always get their money’s worth. A good mold needs to capture every minute detail of the sculpture, while being durable and functional. Rogue Planet has no use for a mold that falls apart after the first pull.

Old Chinese Man: One of our favorite finished pieces this decommissioned surveillance / counter surveillance mask was a silicone pullover. Every character must have a story and this character was developed for an Asia based client.
